In Shadows

The journey that created the verses in this book has been one of joy and sorrow, beauty and heartache, as well as learning and growth. Many pages soiled with tears of frustration, at times even openly weeping as I wrote. I've learned to find the beauty in this, realizing there are some things we may just never understand about the human condition. I've learned that there is no truer testament to my life and the moments that I have lived. And I've learned that there is no better catharsis; these words such a part of me that without them, I would truly be incomplete.
