Sugar Ninjas: Sweet (Vol. 2)

Sugar Ninjas, created by Bob Pendarvis, the original creator of SCAD’s Sequential Art Dept., is an all-girl anthology series of comics, short stories, illustrations, and more. Showcasing a wide range of promising newcomers and more established pros, the Sugar Ninjas are united not only by gender, but by passion for their art. Each Sugar Ninjas volume is comprised of two separate books. Sweet Book is family-friendly and happily girly-girl. If you’re looking for stories with tea parties and pretty dresses, then Sweet Book is for you. Spicy Book, rated 18-and-up, with some material geared for “mature” audiences (partial nudity, naughty language, violent imagery), gives girls the chance to freely express themselves. Sugar Ninjas: Sweet Book (Vol. 2), published in the same landscape format as volume one, contains 350 pages from 48 female artists/storytellers.
