Books aside, Andy Fraser has been better known as prime mover behind Maidstone-based acts such as Death in Venice, the Martini Slutz, and Unlucky Fried Kitten - of which the latter endures to this day - but as a true modern Rennaissance man, he's more than just a bloke with a microphone, and so his unique vision embracing pop culture, roguish charm and a common touch is here expressd in The Tragedian, his first novel - now rescued from internet oblivion, Tesco carrier bags full of loose photocopies, and late night conversations in dusty old pubs to be edited and given a fresh lick of paint in print form.
