Running Out Of Time

What happens when a judge about to be elevated to an important government position becomes enmeshed with Karen, a former lover on the run for a 1960's protest crime? What happens when his wife learns of his new affair with his old lover? What does he do when the old lover who disappeared rather than face arrest reveals that she left carrying his child? When he renders a slap on the wrist instead of a rap on the knuckles, Judge Stephen Jackson set in motion a chain of events that echoed from his past through his present to an uncertain future.
