On September 4, 1995 a feature began appearing on a number of the Forums within the online CompuServe network. This was the comic strip Kevin & Kell about the doings of a very blended family created by the marriage between a rabbit and a wolf. While it was not the first comic strip to be distributed digitally, it was the first to make money off the enterprise as each Forum paid five dollars per week for the strip. Within months it was on the Internet, and two years later its first book collection “Quest for Content” was printed and made available to fans world-wide. That was followed by “Seen Anything Unusual?” and “Accepting Domestication.” This volume brings those early strips together, along with never-before-seen material. There are author comments sprinkled throughout, all of the early Sunday-format strips, the initial sketches of the strip’s development and “Rudy on WOW!”...ten pages of a spinoff proposal.
