Bill Withers, 1926-1995, was an engineer, a
husband, father and stepfather, a rock to his
friends and family, a pillar of his church, and
iconoclast, a curmudgeon, a history buff, and
a wit whose loud laughter in public spaces
made his wife cringe.
He was also a writer.
This collection contains everything he wrote for publication as well as numerous other special-purpose essays.
