This book of commentary reviews the writings of Isaiah, an Old Testament prophet, and provides a background and explanation for the prophet’s writings. It provides a mixture of historical facts along with my own views of what the prophet Isaiah was referring to in each verse. The writings of Isaiah are known for their unfamiliar pose and style of writing, but the purpose of this book is to clarify the meaning of each verse and strives to identify scriptural verses that help modern day readers understand the depth of meaning behind the prophet's words which lie purposely hidden in the writings of Isaiah. In Chapter six of the book of Isaiah, the Lord called the young prophet to write the words he would put in his mouth, but he was to write it so that those who read the words would not understand their deeper meaning until the later days. We do understand his writings today, just as was predicted, and with the aid of modern-day revelation, we can decipher just how wonderfully grand his writings truly were. This book was written in the hopes of encouraging others to read and understand his writings that will bring us all closer to Jesus Christ, for they testify of him.
