Meet Alex, a young boy from Duncan, North Carolina. He is full of creativity and a lust for life. But as he grows older, the veil is lifted and he decides that he wants more than the white-bred boredom being offered to him. From the dirty roadsides of rural America, to the seamy underbelly of youth subcultures, where lost children search for substance and identity, Alex tries to hunt down a new life for himself. But just how far is he willing to go to rise above mediocrity - and how far is too far?
