The Game

SYNOPSIS: "I HAVE WON THE GAME" ~ Teilhard De-Chardin. A farcical romp employing true life histories of several serious characters, the principle perp being Chardin, "Shard". Originally titled “The Ol' Game”, this unabridged first-writing of the play "spills the beans" on Shard (the real perpetrator behind the Piltdown Fraud) and his agenda to employ “The Fictive-Science of Evolution” as a platform for revolutionizing “Theology”: Shard’s “New-Theology”. The play pokes fun at “Evolutionism” and the intellectual-blindness of those who fail to take cognizance of the “link” between the initial fraud and all which followed: with “Peking-Man”, twenty-years later; Java-Man; Nebraska-Man; Taung’s Child; and all so-called anthropological “discoveries” crowning the work of those tragic people who can only be described as a mixture of atheistic charlatans, religious bigots, and congenital idiots! Not so...the mirthful, nevertheless saddened for those deceived by these frauds.
