These poems respond to some cryptic and dialectically wiredrawn passages from Theodor Adorno’s book Minima Moralia with its highly condensed and, on occasion, strikingly poetic prose. Norris’s topic-based verse sequence makes a case for the continuing pertinence of Critical Theory and for the power of poetry to engage and re-articulate that project in a range of creative-exploratory ways.
