With no hope of escape, Incan and his new companions embark upon a mercenary mission in the Fringe; an area of space devastated by the Holy Wars and somewhere the Imperial Guards will not go. Suddenly the dream has come true for Incan. He is following prophecies, retrieving ancient data crystals, risking life limb and sanity searching for a mysterious artefact left by the Gods Ascended.
