Built for More
A personal journal for building direction, confidence and possibility
Habituellement imprimé en 3-5 jours ouvrés
'Built for More' is a practical and visually engaging strengths-based journal created to help young people recognise what is strong in them, build confidence, strengthen self-belief and take positive next steps towards the future they want.
Created by Colin Falconer, founder of Advantaged Thinking, 'Built for More' is shaped by years of work alongside young people, supported housing projects and youth services. It offers something different from traditional self-help or reflective workbooks: a creative and accessible space focused on strengths, possibility and realistic growth
Across the journal, young people are invited to explore who they are, recognise their strengths, reflect on what they have already overcome, and build greater ownership of their choices, direction and goals. Through guided prompts, practical templates, visual exercises and structured weekly reflection pages, the journal helps turn reflection into action and supports progress over time.
Designed with Foyers, supported housing, youth services and young adults aged 16–25 in mind, 'Built for More' can be used independently as a personal journal or alongside coaching, keywork and strengths-based support conversations.
Topics explored throughout the journal include identity, strengths, belief, comfort zones, voice, relationships, goals, leadership and moving forwards. It also includes a full year of weekly reflection tools and signposts that young people can return to whenever they need perspective, focus or encouragement.
At its heart, 'Built for More' creates a practical space where belief can come to life — helping young people recognise their value, build confidence in what is possible, and invest in the person they are becoming.
More than a journal, 'Built for More' operates as a strengths-based self-development resource for reflection and growth. It is a reminder that every young person is built for more than survival — with greater ownership of who they are and where they are going.
