Set in contemporary times, freelance writer Parlor Dean, Wilton, Connecticut, spends his days researching for stories he believes local newspapers want to publish and has decided to write about local Connecticut 'stars' of journalism, like Lawrence Garrett. Finding an article Garrett wrote about the night famed writer/producer Malcolm O'Connor ('Cast Out', #1 novel and movie about demonic possession) sat at a packed house viewing of his movie and laughed hysterically at the horrific murders in the movie, both Garrett and Dean want to know why. Garrett has disappeared. Dean is on his trail. Thus begins an epic journey into the realm of demons, Satan, God, and angels and a war to get... children.
