À propos de D. W. Aossey

I've traveled a lot, met a lot of people and believe that fiction is the way the human mind seeks out truth. *** In the Forever Wars Trilogy, inspired by Ellison's Invisible Man, Vu Lundberg survives the Vietnam War as a child and is adopted by an American family, only to one day find himself working for the same System of greed and destruction that nearly destroyed him. Guided by historical events - the Beirut Barracks Bombing, 9/11, the Oslo Massacre, the destruction of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem - Vu embarks on a harrowing search for truth and understanding. What will he find? ***Invisible Hands is the first novel in the Mike Salem Trilogy. Arc of a Thousand Moons and City of Stone are the sequels. They follow the life and extended family of a reluctant corporate tool who, despite a taste of success, can't quite figure out what's going on. Mike flounders through inept business schemes and awkward relationships only to be dealt some uninspiring hands. The backstory of his immigrant parents, his sort-of-lucky-but-not-so-bright older brother and his eccentric extended family completes the comic tragedy of his rags-to-riches-to-rags adventure that might epitomizes life itself. Also, check out John Kacere and Photorealism, my chronical on the life and work of the great Photorealist painter, John Kacere.
