The Sweet By and By is the story of an Irish-American boy growing up on a 265-acre dairy farm in South-Central Texas. The book is a collection of memories from his experiences growing up in a middle-class family in small-town America in the 1960s. Journey with him through his life and share his memories of the people, events, music and movies that shaped it. The writings were intended for his descendants to help them better understand themselves and the man they call grandfather.
