A Dish Best Served Cold

When he was ten years old, Sean Shanahan’s younger sister, Theresa, was kidnapped and murdered. When her killer was set free on a technicality, Sean’s father and Sacramento S.W.A.T. Captain, Mick Shanahan, swore revenge. Abandoning the law and his family, Mick recruited fellow Vietnam veterans to form a vigilante squad. For four years in the early eighties, Mick’s team tracked and killed child molesters across the country. Having lost his father to vendetta, Sean vowed never to sacrifice his family to his personal demons. Twenty years later, Sean is put to the test when his eight-year old daughter Brittany is abducted. Seeing the story on national news, Mick comes out of hiding and contacts his former partners to help Sean track down Brittany’s kidnapper. As they close in on the suspect, they realize the kidnapping is not random, but a ruse to draw Mick out into the open. As he races the clock to keep his father and daughter alive, Sean struggles with the law and his own thirst for revenge.
