It is a well-established fact that most Baptists of the past were Calvinistic; however their brand of Calvinism was not necessarily the same as that of conventional Calvinists. The primary purpose of this book is to document and explain these differences, and to offer a scriptural defense for the positions taken by Primitive Baptists, Regular Baptists, and Particular Baptists on the points at issue.
