The book tells the story of the former football ground at St George's Lane North, Worcester that was the home of Worcester City Football Club for 108 years. A local man leased meadow land to the fledgling club and it was developed into one of the best non-league football grounds due to the foresight of the club's directors and the significant financial contribution made by the club's supporters through their own Supporters' Club.
