IS THE END NEAR?

Bible prophets all over the earth are already making "accurate predictions about events in world history," that God's decisive and decisive intervention in human affairs is about to occur. This latest outburst of aggressive premillennialism is biblically, theologically, and historically dangerous. In 1963, a respected biblical scholar wrote in a popular commentary on Daniel and the Revelation, “If anyone today makes accurate predictions about events in world history between now and AD 2400, he is unlikely to have an audience. To be called a fanatic” (Thomas S. Kepler, A Dream of the Future: Daniel and Revelation Abingdon).
