Celtic Music for Ukulele: Low G

Traditional Celtic songs and instrumentals from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Cornwall arranged for low G ukulele. These are easy and easy-intermediate fingerstyle (or classical style) arrangements presented in both standard notation and tablature. Most of these pieces are in a two-voice texture. That is, they include a bass line to be played with the thumb while the other fingers play the melody. In the pieces presented in a one-voice texture, chords are provided for an optional accompaniment by another ukulele or guitar. In addition to the melody and chords, lyrics are included for two songs. There is also a fingerstyle duet at the end of the book in which both ukuleles have an interesting part to play. A brief music theory lesson is included regarding the modes one finds in Celtic music.
