Dwindling resources, environmental concerns and a plethora of other problems that confront humanity are without borders. Business now operates across continents in a borderless world and organisations must cater for diversity of cultures and religious values. Today, the world is a far more chaotic, complex and fast moving place than it ever was. This brief essay presents a discussion about leadership in the world of today, core skills and competencies expected of leaders and ways for developing the requisite skills and competencies in leaders.
