Dear Jennifer is a series of letters written to her by her dad. It begins with the story of how Jenny, a cute brown-skinned girl, became Jenny Princess. The letters go on to describe Jenny Princess's adventures and experiences. These include finding a talking dog, seeing the Grand Canyon, watching a coyote try to catch blackbirds, and discovering a secret room in an old house built by a woman gold miner.
