Roadmap to Development

In this world of plenty there are still billions of people living in extreme poverty. Over 1,200,000,000 survive on less than $1 per day, meaning that their lives are a continual struggle for survival. We can, and we must, help these people to help themselves. Development is high on the international agenda and some progress has been made, but we must never rest until all men are free from the oppression of poverty. Our cause is just, only apathy will stand in our way.
