On a Friday in 1995 Ned Murphy is fired. Then, his second wife, Beth, who’s vacationing in England with their son, files for divorce. Ned’s bosses have stolen millions from the company and have fired him to hide their crimes. Ned plans to expose them at the annual shareholders’ meeting. As the shareholders’ meeting approaches, Beth, returns to New York without their son. Ned thinks she will keep their son in England, forcing Ned to choose between exposing his bosses at the shareholders’ meeting, and losing his son unless he goes to England to bring him home. Ned and his ex-wife, Amy go to England hoping to do both. After finding his son, Ned and Amy are pursued by British and American police for kidnapping in a car, ferry, and plane chase from England through Ireland to the United States. Once home, Ned obtains proof against his bosses and, with Amy’s help, exposes their crimes at the shareholders’ meeting.
