A Year In My Life

After the death of his father, Jake Slater is taken in by his aunt, and returns to the hometown, school, and friends he thought he was leaving forever a year earlier after the death of his mother. While renewing old friendships (as well as restoring a friendship ended over a misunderstanding), Jake also makes new friends as he navigates the sixth grade. From playing butts up with friends, to camping out in his backyard, to his first kiss, and experiencing his family's traditions, Jake Slater embarks on that great adventure known as life.
