The Befana Drama

A magical fantasy book for children aged 8+ which is a global adventure by broomstick, transporting kids into the charmed world of VIPBs (Very Important Present Bringers), while delivering lots of mirth, magic and mayhem and a combination of witch-dust of the most wondrous kind and the Christmas magic surrounding Santa Claus. This book sees Italy's traditional VIPB, The Befana, transformed into the cool witch 'Bef' and heading off on a mission to retain the hearts of her Italian children as her simple gifts of coal and candy compete with hi-tech gadgets and gizmos. Bef needs to elicit the help of friends, to battle foe such as the Most Fearsome Feller in Folklore and the vain Capriccia Claus, not to mention the sly 81st elf. Can a boy band, an exiled-to Siberia tailor & the 'best reindeer whisperer the world has ever seen' possibly help her win? Only the lucky child, or parent reading the bedtime story will find out.
