In 1945 it was going to take a lot to get kids to plunk down 2.5X the cost of a “regular” comic – and even more to convince their parents to do such a crazy thing. MERRY GO ROUND was one of those insane books that cost an entire quarter! Thankfully, the content was up to the task, featuring page-after-page-after-page (after-page another 25 times or so) of every conceivable anthropomorphic creature (i.e. funny animal) in bold, bright, hilarious color!! Of course, a copy today would cost a bit more, $100-200, IF YOU CAN FIND ONE. But you don't have to find one – we have it for you, and you won't be spending hundreds, either!!
