Learning Chinese Canada is the inaugural book of an important new series that reflects a unique partnership between the University of British Columbia and the Chinese Canadian Historical Society of British Columbia. Reflecting an ongoing relationship between the CCHSBC and the researchers and students of the Initiative for Student Teaching and Research in Chinese Canadian Studies at UBC, this book signals a new commitment to uncover the long ignored and lost histories of the Chinese in British Columbia and Canada.
