Chris is an overweight, freckled, shy misfit who gets housed in a one-off attic room when there’s no more space at the pledge house. Serendipitously, the sorority sisters next door notice his plight and take pity on him. His idol, Marian Whitlock, a neuroscientist tech mogul, happens to be an alumna of the sorority, and he jumps when offered the chance to meet her — even if it’s at a “women’s only” event and he has to dress the part. The mogul warms to the smart, eager, confident “Chrissy” and begins serving as a mentor to the young girl. With the sorority sisters’ help, Chris poses as a sorority pledge to continue his relationship with Marian. Meanwhile, he becomes more and more disenchanted with the frat, as the hazing and bullying no longer feel worth the trouble. Suddenly Chris begins to consider an unthinkable change.
