On an island rich in Copprillium ore where corruption rules supreme, two families are battling for power: one, the former righteous rulers who want to reinstate peace; the other, an insidious clan enacting a plot to plunder the material wealth of Stormfield isle at the expense of all its inhabitants. He must learn to cope in a world far from his understanding, for a mysterious villainess is trying to kill his only two friends, an eccentric burglar named Kat and a rebellious daughter from the top of society named Jill.
