James Allen was born in Leicester, England, in 1864 and began his writing career in 1902. Over the next nine years, until his death in 1912, he produced nineteen books, the most famous of which is his best-selling “As A Man Thinketh.” Over the last century this work has continued to inspire generation after generation.
