In His Father's House

Cramped together in a Glasgow tenement at the end of the first great war, the McMillan family grows as unemployment rises. Young Billy McMillan watches the world change around him with his best friend Jacky, while Mr McMillan moves from job to job. Eventually their lives move towards the inevitable onset of Adolf Hitler's ambitious Germany and yet another war.
