Meet straight “A”, High school senior, Logan Greene, who, since childhood, has been taught by conservative parents, Patricia and George, the most important thing in life is measured by having a prestigious status. Hard work, honest living, and loyalty only count for so much, and everything can be fixed by knowing the right people with the most power, or by having enough money to pay out of any predicament that might threaten the family’s status in the community. Born into a wealthy family with no other siblings and not a care in the world, Logan’s charmed life is the picture of perfection from the outside, but it’s about to be turned upside down when the family’s beliefs are tested with friends getting divorced, job situations going belly up, and secrets that are bubbling just under the surface, threatening to rear their ugly heads and implode. Then, mysterious and odd Julian enters the Greene’s lives one wintery night. Having grown up on the not so rich side of town, Julian’s values and morals are in sharp contrast from Logan’s. This stranger is hard-working, dedicated, and true in words and actions. And, Julian’s obsession for absolute peace and justice, as well as an obsession with animals, are simply puzzling to most people, but getting to know Julian, that’s only half the fun. The other half is how the two combine what they know through experiences they’ve had in their separate lives and how they figure out the things they don’t know through this most unusual meeting. With help from Julian’s twin, some open-minded family friends, each family’s secrets, and even unearthly enemies, they find they have quite an adventure to unravel and hopefully live through.
