PRACTICAL PREPOSITIONAL CONSTRUCTIONS 2: TEACHER'S COPY/MARKING-SCHEME

The prepositional construction exercises set out in this book adequately serve our purpose, considering their relevance to the need of the students preparing for the (Senior) High School certificate and University Matriculation examinations in English Language and Use of English respectively. Aside from vocabulary development which this book affords the serious student, it will no doubt contribute in no small measure to a very brilliant performance in his essay work. Teachers are enjoined to make the exercises in the work-book their students’ regular menu, with particular emphasis on the discrete, textual meanings of individual grammatical and lexical items, as well as on the integrated, concomitant, contextual meanings of the resultant ‘prepositioned’ or ‘postpositioned’ grammatical constructions.
