In 1973, Rock Bottom Road is an isolated community on the big island of Hawaii. It is inhabited by young long hairs fleeing the main land for the quieter tropical lifestyle. They have it all, at least by their standards. Anthony and Barry are the heart and soul of Rock Bottom Road. They have been there from the beginning and have seen it all. The forty or so people that inhabit the area are there solely because of their influence. As good as his life is, Anthony can’t help but feel unrest and decides to make a move, now. What they have is great but as far as he can see, it cannot last for long. His dream is to go to another island, somewhere in the South Pacific, a place where the locals all live off the land, where the culture hasn’t changed that much since the beginning of time. Little does he know that the island of his choice holds a mystery rooted in his own past, a mystery that only he can unravel.
