As a boy, Tom Roberts was shot in the head. Luckily, he recovered and had gained the ability to read people’s minds. As a qualified Paralegal, it didn't take long for the London Police Force to want him on their team. An assignment to interview a suspect who has been arrested for murder, to ascertain his innocence or guilt, leads to Tom becoming deeply involved in the search for the real guilty party’s identity.
