Because we have so walled ourselves from the brutality of life, we have become things cold and cruel. As Aristotle says in his Poetics, tragedy is purgative on all the emotions. The white man’s world is plastic and happy and bright, and because it is plastic and happy and bright, and knows no tragedy, so therefore we do not have our emotions washed in sorrow, we wallow in a state of psychic and spiritual filthiness. Didn’t you ever wonder - or did the 501(c)(3) McChristianity kill wonder in you - why someone once said, “Bless’d are they who mourn for they shall be comforted”? Wot auld Greek bastard couldn’t have said it better himself.
