The Bible tells us clearly that God created man in His own image (Gen.1:27), but that Satan came to distort this image, thereby alienating him from his Creator. What is this image? How has man recreated this in his own image after his fall? Any way out of the doldrums? In this book, we shall try to examine the nature of this image and see how it rubbed off on man before his fall. It is hoped that our knowledge of this mystery will give meaning to our whole existence in this world. We shall also analyze the aspects of God’s image that were distorted by Satan and the consequences of this distortion on mankind and on God’s creation as a whole. Lastly, we shall see how this image was restored to man by God through His infinite love and mercy. This restoration has not only brought relief and hope to the dying world, but has also provided every ransomed soul with peace, joy, security and eternal life in the kingdom of God. As you go through this book, I pray the restoration of God’s image in you will be permanent in Jesus’ name. Amen.
