Hundreds of years into the future after gang fights and internal wars, the United States of America is no more. The survivors in an insane social experiment gone even more haywire, the people live in rubbish trying to piece back together their lives. Only a few still stand out as fighters for freedom, hunting for the coveted treasure of books. One such person is Rebekah Jones. Reb Jones, the book thief, is on a quest to collect the 26 letter volumes of an encyclopedia set for her people. Unfortunately, the books have been scattered among the remnants of the war aftermath and she must do them in Alphabetical order--part of a punishment for defying her village chief. But Rebekah continues undaunted through rain, sleet, hail, fire or what have you to accomplish her goal--even if it means taking on the entire world by herself. Book 1 of Encyclopedia series
