Entropy is a collection of stories that explore the mind frames of three different men at different ages, times and desires. A distinctive humor, voice and perspective link these three stories. “The Science of Nausea” is a look at the daily life of journalist Jake Stark, who has grown disillusioned with his profession and his life. “Daydream Blues” follows a struggling student, Marcus, who has to deal with a crush on a lesbian co-worker, calm down his alcoholic, paraplegic war veteran roommate, and make a decision about helping to rob a warehouse full of irregular prosthetic limbs. “How Do Mechs Love?” is a thrilling sci-fi noir that gets into the mind of a retired and floundering private detective, Izek. He has been tasked with finding the assassin that tried to kill the Great Mayor of the LA Bridge.
