This is a Canadian's journal of her time in Japan and the subsequent musings and adventures. Kate left the familiarity of her life to seek out the unknown in a country where she didn't have friends, didn't know the language and didn't know her way around. The original plan was to teach English through a private language school for a year but all was abandoned after six months to maximize the traveling opportunities and to just be a bum. Along the way, she meets colourful people that contribute towards this very busy year in many different ways. Relive the experiences and enjoy some laughs as you read.
