As A Phoenix Rises

Venn is the Prince of Sathia, a land full of human-like creatures with black eyes. When an assassination attempt is made on his life by a foreigner from the neighboring Lerinia, he begins to wonder why the two lands were fighting in the first place. He decides to keep the prisoner around. An old man comes to him claiming that he knows the secrets of the past and gets Venn to enroll in a mission to save the two countries from ultimate war. Will his new companion help or hinder him on his journey?
