This is the 2nd book from the Keepers of the Rods series - Set 68 years after the rapture of religious prophecy descended upon the Earth. The five friends now travel space, time and dimensions by means of the rods given to them by the hermit of Barry Island. They sense a calling to a distant planet where they meet Paul, 'The Magician' and given a dire warning. The mythical Hierophant wants their rods - the source of their power, and their lives.
