Introspection
Poetry and Artwork by Kenneth Rougeau
Habituellement imprimé en 3-5 jours ouvrés
For more than thirty years, Kenneth Rougeau has explored the shifting landscapes of memory, identity, longing, love, loss, and wonder through poetry and art.
"Introspection" is a curated collection spanning decades of creative work, gathering together reflections on what it means to be human: to seek meaning, to endure uncertainty, to love deeply, to lose often, and to continue forward despite never fully understanding the road ahead.
At times contemplative, melancholy, affectionate, irreverent, and hopeful, Rougeau's work invites readers to wander alongside him through questions without easy answers, forgotten roads, chance encounters, old wounds, fleeting joys, and the countless versions of ourselves we leave behind.
These poems move through darkness, grief, loneliness, and doubt, but they do not remain there. Again and again, they return to resilience, curiosity, connection, and the quiet determination to continue.
Accompanied by original artwork, "Introspection" presents a deeply personal yet universally recognizable journey through the interior landscape of a life examined. Together, the poems and images form a portrait of becoming: a record of searching, stumbling, learning, loving, and finding meaning in the journey rather than the destination.
For readers of contemporary poetry, reflective writing, and philosophical exploration, "Introspection" offers an invitation to pause, look inward, and perhaps recognize a piece of themselves among its pages.
