God drew a line in the sand when he told Adam and Eve to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Since that time, mankind has edged closer and closer to a fundamental understanding of the universe while paying no attention to God’s boundaries. The [spam] Prophecy is a fictional story that explores what happens when mankind attempts to push those limits through advanced technology. While collecting samples for a genealogical study in Israel, Larry is contacted by a group that has stolen an ancient holy relic called the Sudarium. The Sudarium, supposedly the cloth used to cover Jesus' head on the cross, provides a sample of DNA which his friend and co-worker Jimbo clones. It's not surprising that things turn bad when years later the clone uses his fame to send an email to the world containing a formula that, like a palm reader's life line, predicts the recipient's vitality and length of life. That email, the [spam] Prophecy, foretells the beginning of the end for mankind.
