The Summer of 2008, I had the opportunity to travel to Bangkok, Thailand as an Art Therapy student. Every summer, The Florida State University Center for the Advancement of Human Rights sponsors two Masters level art therapy students to travel to Bangkok and provide art therapy services in conjunction with a government shelter. The shelter houses children ages 2 through 18 who have been removed from their homes and are pending investigation or placement in foster care as a result of physical or sexual abuse. I was honored to be one of the two students chosen for this opportunity.
This book is a compilation of my journal about the experience of traveling to Thailand, and the photographs of that journey.
