Speaking about lost civilizations, we usually imagine ruins entwined with vines in a distant jungle or ruins on the ocean floor, we remember legendary names: Atlantis, Lemuria, Mu... But it turns out that the abyss of unconsciousness absorbs no worse than ocean waters. It turns out that not in the antediluvian eras, but less than a thousand years ago, and not on other continents, but very close by there was a great civilization of our ancestors, competing on equal terms with the Holy Roman Empire and powerful Byzantium – and now virtually forgotten.
