eventeen year-old Josh LaSalle was always content living in Pittsburgh despite having unhappy parents. In a sudden move to heal their marriage, which is to move back to the place where they fell in love, Josh is forced to spend his senior year of high school at their alma mater while they reinstate their personal happiness. Josh forms unexpected friendships and starts a band, something he always dreamed of doing. While classmates worry about making final memories and sending off college applications, Josh—along with his friends Jeff and Frank—become the talk of the music scene. Parties, girls, literature and rock and roll music begin to take over Josh’s life while figuring out if the French foreign exchange student really likes him, likes him.
