What do I mean by “our identification with Christ”? We do not mean we are to identify “ourselves” with Christ. That’s not what we mean. By our identification with Christ we mean…God identified all of humanity in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. A simpler way to say it may be, “God saw us hanging on the cross, God saw us die with Christ, God saw us buried, God saw us quickened and raised to life. Then God saw us seated.” He saw it this way because it is what actually happened. This book goes into detail about God's view of what happened at the cross. It just might change the way you think about your Father and what happened that day at Calvary.
