Wind comes from Pingcheng

In the fictional Northern Wei Dynasty, a fire in Pingcheng during the Taiping Zhenjun era sets off a power struggle. Zhao Han, a dedicated official, is involved in the investigation of the fire and the mystery of hidden gold. He discovers the collusion between Buddhist temples and Xianbei nobles. Amidst the intrigue, Cui Hao, the prime minister, has his own schemes to promote Sinicization, while Emperor Tuoba Tao tries to balance different forces. Lu Zhong plots to seize power. Through it all, Zhao Han endures hardships but earns the people's respect, and in the end, he realizes the importance of the people's trust over power and gold.
